I am a progressive Democrat running in a local election in a very conservative area of a purple state. I work full time for a large insurance company and serve on the Board of a community non-profit. I enjoy hiking, biking and skiing during my downtime.
  • Climate change is real. We need to start taking it seriously by passing legislation requiring the rapid phasing out of fossil fuel development.
  • Grassroots organizing is how we make change. We need to get used to that idea and realize that politics is part of our lives
  • Masks save lives. Vaccinations save lives. Do the right thing.
The development of solar and wind power infrastructure is my primary interest. Public transportation can help with the long term goal of reducing our carbon footprint. I am also learning about alternative ways to fund education so that schools in rural areas are not forced to under pay their teachers and do without needed materials and equipment.
