Wendy Vogel
Wendy Vogel was the District A representative on the Douglas County School District Board of Directors in Colorado.
Biography
Vogel received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Wake Forest University. She continued on to earn her master's degree in counseling from Chapman University. She has worked in federal prisons as a psychology intern, substance abuse educator, and a case manager. Vogel opened her own business as a professional quilter.[1]
Elections
2015
Three of the seven seats on the Douglas County School District Board of Directors were up for election on November 3, 2015. Seats in Districts A, C, and F were on the general election ballot.
District A incumbent Craig V. Richardson faced challenger Wendy Vogel. Anne Marie Lemieux challenged incumbent Kevin Larsen for the District C seat. The District F race included incumbent Richard Robbins and challenger David Ray.[2] Vogel won the District A seat, Lemieux secured District C, and Ray was elected to District F.
