Wes Douglas

Wes Douglas is a judge of the Third Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected on November 6, 2012 and took office on January 8, 2013. His current term expires in January of 2019.[1][2]
Education
Douglas received his A.A. from Lake City Community College, his B.A. from the University of Florida, and his J.D. from the Florida Coastal School of Law.[3]
Career
Prior to his election to the Third Circuit Court, Douglas was a private practice attorney.[3]
2012 election
Douglas was elected to the Third Circuit Court on November 6, 2012. In the primary on Aug. 14, he defeated Jimmy Prevatt with 56.7% of the vote. He received 98.5% of the votes in the general elections, opposed only by write-in candidate Angela M. Cancio.[4][5][2][6]
