| Outside of work, Wesley remains deeply involved in his community. He is an active advocate in the Ambassador Program for the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce and supports various charitable organizations, including the Putnam County Fair, Upper Cumberland Pride and Habitat for Humanity.
Raised on a working tobacco and cattle farm in the Spring Creek area, Wesley comes from a long line of community leaders and entrepreneurs. His family's legacy of public service, including his father and grandfather's combined 20 plus years as County Commissioner for the 12th district, instilled in him a strong sense of civic duty and responsibility.
Wesley cherishes his roots and is proud to call the Upper Cumberland home. Alongside his partner, Benjamin Gamby, he resides in the same area that his family has farmed for generations, surrounded by their beloved animals.- Educational vouchers DO NOT help our students, our schools, our teachers, or anyone involved in public education in our great state. We MUST fully fund our public school system in order for them to thrive and perform at the highest level possible.
- Women's reproductive health rights are not a privilege, they are a necessity. Every woman deserves the autonomy and control to make their own decisions regarding themselves.
- Gun violence is the leading cause of death for young people in the State of Tennessee. We can help keep our communities safe and maintain our ability to own firearms.
