Wesley Dalton was the presiding judge for the 12th Circuit Court in Missouri from 2012 to 2018.[1] He was also a municipal court judge for the municipalities of Marthasville, Truesdale, and Warrenton in Warren County. Dalton died December 16, 2018, from a heart attack.[2]

Education

Dalton earned his B.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1982 and his J.D. from the University of Missouri in 1988.[3][4]

Career

Prior to becoming the presiding judge, Dalton served as an associate circuit judge for the 12th Circuit Court, serving Warren County. He was appointed by Governor Roger Wilson in 2000 and served in this position until 2011. Before that, he practiced law for twelve years at his own practice Warrenton.[4]

2012 election

Dalton ran unopposed for the position of presiding judge on the 12th Circuit Court.[5][6] He was elected, earning 100 percent of the vote.[7]
