A West Sonoma County High School District parcel tax, Measure K ballot question was on the June 7, 2005 ballot for voters in the West Sonoma County High School District in Sonoma County, where it was approved.[1]
Measure K authorized the West Sonoma County High School District to levy a parcel tax of $26 per parcel per year.
Measure K was on the ballot just three months after voters in the district rejected Measure B on March 8. Measure B, if it had been approved, would have levied a parcel tax of $26 per parcel per year for eight years.
In November 2012, voters in the district approved another Measure K, which increased the parcel tax to $48/year and extended it for eight more years.
A two-thirds (66.67%) vote was needed for approval.
