A West Unity Village Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Williams County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the Village of West Unity to renew a property tax levy of 5 mills ($5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to provide for the current expenses of the Village.[1]

Language on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of West Unity Village for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.50 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.[1][2]
