The West Virginia Better Roads Amendment, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in West Virginia on November 3, 1964, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided "$200 million for the building and construction of state roads and highways."[1][2]
