Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

The purpose of this proposed amendment is to amend the State Constitution to exempt from ad valorem property taxation the first $10,000 of any real property or mobile home occupied as a residency by the owner who is sixty-five years of age or older or is permanently and totally disabled.[2]
