The legislative body should guide the governor, hold them in check.

Transitioning away from fossil fuel control of the state legislature

What are the benefits and drawbacks of a unicameral state legislature, in your opinion?

Honestly I had to look that one up. If you only had one body it would have full run of all issues if controlled by one party.

NO!

Absolutely. It is necessary in understanding another view as well as getting anything accomplished.

A nonpartisan external body.

Yes.

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

That depends upon the issue we are dealing with. Obviously bi-partisan relationship are the most healthy.
