As a lifelong educator, Andy knows what it takes to improve our schools. We need to engage parents and community members, empower teachers, and remove unnecessary regulations that prevent our educational system from realizing its full potential.

District 59 has not received an equitable share of road funding. Cross Lanes, in particular, suffers from deteriorating roads and streets that the state has failed to adequately maintain. Andy will work to develop a plan to fix this problem and address the traffic congestion in Cross Lanes and at the Nitro Market Place as we cannot attract additional economic investment until we solve our infrastructure problems.

Access to reliable internet service is just as important as water, electricity, and other utilities. We must not only expand broadband coverage, but also enact stronger regulations to hold current providers, such as Suddenlink and Frontier, accountable for providing insufficient internet speeds and raising customer’s monthly bills without explanation.
Andy also supports:

· Pro-Life Principles.

· Law Enforcement and Emergency Services Workers.

· Protecting 2nd Amendment Rights.

· Expanding treatment options for drug addiction.

· Abolishing unnecessary regulations on businesses to create a more investment friendly climate.
