The West Virginia Judicial Reorganization Amendment, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in West Virginia on November 5, 1974, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment established a "unified court system, uniting all state courts except municipal courts into a single system to be supervised and administered by the supreme court of appeals."[1][2]
