The West Virginia Jury Service for Women Amendment, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in West Virginia on November 6, 1956, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This amendment made women eligible for jury service.[1][2]
