Wet Up Petitions - Lubbock County, Texas (2009)
There were two Wet Up Petitions on the May 9 ballot in Lubbock County.
Since these were voted into approval, they will allow the sale of beer and wine in stores and also allow the sale of mixed drinks in restaurants.[1]
Both initiatives were approved.[2]
Proposition 1: expands packaged alcohol sales in the county
Proposition 2: allows mixed-drink sales in restaurants passed
- Yes: 69.5%
- No: 30.5%[3]
National Ballot Access was the signature vendor for the petition drive.
