What to watch for in next Tuesday's Arkansas primaries

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas: Next Tuesday Arkansas voters will go to the polls to cast ballots in primary elections. Democrats currently control both chambers of the state legislature. The general election in November is expected to feature some close battles to determine ultimate control of the legislature.
There are 11 State Senate and 36 State House incumbents not running for re-election.
Here are some races of note next Tuesday:
Senate District 35 incumbent Bill Pritchard faces State House incumbent Jon Woods (R).
Senate District 21 incumbent Steve Harrelson faces State House incumbent Larry Cowling
State House incumbents Ed Garner and David J. Sanders square off in the GOP State Senate District 15 primary
Polls will be open from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm on Election Day.
