A White City Incorporation Question was going to be on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Jackson County, but it did not get final approval.
This measure would have asked voters if they wanted to incorporate White City. Questions had arisen if incorporation would have actually reduced resident's taxes, a claim proponents of the measure used to get signatures for the petition. But the County Assessor said that in fact taxes would have been raised, adding an additional $1.45 to local property taxes.[1]
