Whitney Hoffman
Whitney Hoffman was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 160 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Biography
After growing up in Rochester, New York, Hoffman attended the University of Pennsylvania.[1] She earned her B.A. in biology in December 1989 and her J.D. from Penn State University, Dickinson School of Law in 1994.[2]
Following law school, Hoffman worked for a law firm in Newark, Delaware that represented a trade group that represented all major stadiums, convention centers and large theaters in the United States until 2005. In 2004, Hoffman moved to Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
Currently, Hoffman is the Director and CEO of Hoffman Digital Media. She recently published and co-authored a book about personalized and differentiated instruction. She also produces podcasts about learning and differentiated instruction and medical resident education.[1]

2014
Elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent Stephen Barrar was unopposed in the Republican primary, while Whitney Hoffman was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Barrar defeated Hoffman in the general election.[4][5][6]
