Whitney Kenner Jones was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2003, a graduate degree from Strayer University n 2010, and a law degree from Mercer University in 2014. Her career experience includes working as an attorney.[1]

Whitney Kenner Jones is an advocate and an energetic fighter dedicated to the success of her community. She is a child welfare law attorney who currently serves the community as a Special Assistant Attorney General Associate representing the Department of Family and Children Services in Juvenile Dependency cases. Through her work in the justice system she has learned that the success of our youth and families is the first step in ensuring the advancement and progress of our society. She is committed to ensuring the appropriate care, treatment, and rehabilitation for youth involved in the Juvenile Delinquent/Dependent system. Whitney is motivated to advance issues of access to healthcare, public safety, equity, and education.
  • Whitney is a fighter, working to bring real change and addressing the unique challenges we face here in Georgia Senate District 35.
  • As mother, a wife, a lawyer, and a Juvenile Dependency Attorney, Whitney is passionate and committed to her family and community.
