A Whittier Union High School District bond proposition, Measure W ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the Whittier Union High School District in Los Angeles County, where it was approved.

Measure W authorized the district to borrow $75 million. It extended a construction bond (Measure C) that voters originally approved in 1999 for seven more years.

A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for approval.

The question on the ballot:

MEASURE W: "To provide excellent high schools for all students in the Whittier Union High School District; build instructional, vocational and career technical classrooms; upgrade security and student support facilities including athletic facilities; and improve heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; shall the Whittier Union High School District be authorized to issue up to $75,000,000 in bonds at legal interest rates, with an independent citizens' oversight committee, annual audits, and no money for administrative salaries?"
