Wilford Taylor Jr.
Wilford Taylor Jr. was a circuit court judge for the 8th Judicial Circuit in Virginia.[1] He joined the court in 1995 and retired on December 1, 2017. He served on the 8th Judicial District Court from 1985 to 1995. Taylor was the first black judge to serve in Hampton, Virginia.[2]
Biography
Taylor was born on January 15, 1950. He received his undergraduate degree from Hampton University in 1972, his master's degree in finance from the University of Richmond in 1975, and his J.D. from the College of William and Mary in 1978.[3][4]
