  • Reducing the tax burden on home owners by finding alternative revenue sources to fund our firemen, deputies, parks and rec crews, and clerks so they remain competitive with other agencies.
  • Reducing the red tape and regulations that make it impossible for the teachers, nurses, and firemen we count on every day to live in the community they serve.
  • Reducing traffic and improving the roads by ensuring that we are getting every single dollar we deserve from GDOT.
I’m passionate about reducing the ridiculous red tape and regulations imposed by Cherokee county that make it impossible for our children to build next to us because they hold them to the same level that they do major developers.
I look up to my friend Bryan Maass, Master Gunnery Sergeant- USMC retired. Bryan was the big brother I always wanted and didn’t deserve growing up, and remains my role model to this day. He’s a Force Recon Marine, Sniper, and 30 year veteran of countless enemy engagements. He is fearless and caring and everything we should all strive to be. Bryan doesn’t lie, cheat, or steal and would never tolerate someone who does. He’s a great father, a loyal husband, and a good man.
Honesty. Integrity. Accessibility. Trustworthiness. Being a servant to every single of your constituents, not just those who voted for you. Leading by example and never asking someone to do something you’re unwilling to do yourself.
Honesty, Integrity, and the willingness to lead by example.
Finding alternative ways to fund the crucial services we depend on every day without taxing property owners out of their homes to do it.
I want to leave the world a little better than I found it, and if after I die all people say was he was a great father and a honest hardworking man then my life will have been a success.
Landscaping-Summer between 9th and 10th grade. I had it several summers after that.
The Encyclopedia. I read it A-Z over the course of 3 years in my youth and it’s been a source of both useful and useless knowledge for whatever the situation calls for.
Don’t do that to me because it’ll just be stuck in my head again.
I was injured relatively early on in my Marine Corps service spending 2 weeks in a coma, 2 months in ICU, and enduring 20 surgeries that resulted in my 3rd and final med board denying my request to remain on Active Duty. Being a Marine was all I ever wanted to be and to have that cut short while dealing with the near constant pain from my injuries has been difficult to deal with at times.
Not appropriate for public.
Taxpayers deserve to know where their money is going, who’s benefiting, and what results they’re getting in return. When government operates in the dark, waste and corruption thrive. When it’s held accountable, trust is restored.

I support clear public reporting of budgets, contracts, and spending ; and I believe elected officials must be held to the same level of financial honesty that we expect from our families and businesses.
