My motto is "be the change," and that’s exactly why I’m running to represent the people of Assembly District 13 where I have lived for nearly a decade. Character matters and I have consistently demonstrated integrity, wisdom, and compassion throughout my career of service. I am an individual whose decisions are driven by data and reason and guided by compassion. I think each voice is important and all of us should have an honest chance to access our great nation's opportunities.

I’m not a politician but I have been working to make the world more safe, peaceful, and prosperous my entire life. I grew up in a neighborhood near Detroit, Michigan, where I learned the values of hard work, integrity, and faith and developed the skills of discipline, excellence in execution, and teamwork through the performing arts. I have worn many hats over the years; the common theme is servant leadership.

"Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" is more than just a phrase on a page to me. Government should be at work for its people. If elected, ensuring safe communities, excellent schools, a sustainable economy, and the well-being of every Nevadan will be my top priority.

  • Strong vision to move Nevada forward into a prosperous and peaceful future where people come first. Will Rucker is Effective.
  • We need more leaders with integrity who won’t compromise for corporate interests that harm our community, who demonstrate character and compassion, and who will stand up for us. Will Rucker is Experienced.
  • Enough with the ”party-first” politics! We need to get back to doing what’s right for all of us. Will Rucker is Engaged and has the courage to lead.
Being married to a nurse has provided me with a unique perspective on the immense challenges our first responders face. I'm the grandson of a teacher, army veteran, and domestic worker, the son of a dad who owned a small business and a mom who worked a traditional job. I know the benefits of hard work, the sacrifice of service, and that our quality of life isn’t guaranteed.

We need to modernize our economy and that can only happen if we modernize our consciousness. I am passionate about creating a social floor that supports all of us without exceeding the bounds of our ecological limits.

As a pastor, I have been with people during their most difficult times of loss and tragedy, and in their greatest moments of celebration like their wedding or birth of a child. As a nonprofit director, I have been the "boots on the ground" in our community, working to improve conditions in every sector from infrastructure to education to healthcare. As a corporate leader, I have had to make tough decisions to ensure viability while also promoting the well-being of my teams. I know what needs to be done and I know how to get it done.
