Willard F. Spicer
Willard F. Spicer was a judge for the Summit County Court of Common Pleas Probate Division in Ohio.[1] He retired from the court in 2011, due to the mandatory retirement age in the state. Spicer holds the title of longest-serving probate judge in Summit County.[2][3]
Education
Spicer received a bachelor's degree from the University of Akron and a J.D. from the University of Akron Law School.[3]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge for the Summit County Court of Common Pleas Probate Division, Spicer was a judge for the Akron Municipal Court. He previously worked as an assistant U.S. attorney and a chief city prosecutor in Akron, Ohio. Before beginning his legal career, Spicer served in the army for one year, from 1966-1967.[3]
