William Akana
William Akana was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 67 of the California State Assembly.
Akana earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1981. He went on to receive his M.S. in Space Systems from Naval Postgraduate School in 1991. He also received an M.A. in Secondary Education from UOPH. Akana is employed as a teacher.

Akana ran in the 2012 election for California State Assembly District 67. He was eliminated in the blanket primary on June 5, 2012.[2][3][4]
