William J. "Billy" Bennett is a judge of the 12th Judicial District in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. He was elected to this position on November 5, 1996.[1][2] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[3][4]

Education

Bennett received his B.A. from Louisiana State University and his J.D. from Loyola University - New Orleans. He was admitted to the practice of law in 1979.[5]
