I am a father, business owner and a Veteran seeking to represent my community. I have the educational, business and leadership experience to make a positive difference for SE Michigan. I am fiscally and socially conservative and hope to make Michigan a better place to raise a family, open a business or retire comfortably.
  • "It's about People, not politics"
  • We need a better ROI on our tax dollars: as parents, small businesses and retirees.
  • As a combat Veteran, I know how to work with a team through respect and mutual gain to bring about mission success
Better tax ROI: A better school choice program, school vouchers (parents deserve this and creating competition will actually improve our public school system), better small business environment, and tax relief for retired persons.

I am also passionate about Veteran services and taking care of those service personnel who have sacrificed much for our safety.
I am passionate about freedom for all, to include the unborn and the elderly. All people deserve dignity and respect in a civilized society.

I am passionate about our environment and our farm land, and balancing the two. farming is the largest part of the MI economy and we need to work with family farms as well as small businesses to ensure our economy is strong.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Michigan

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
