William Bryant
William Benson Bryant (1911-2005) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Bryant was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on July 12, 1965, to a seat vacated by David Pine; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 11, 1965, and received commission that same day. He served as chief judge from 1977-1981. He assumed senior status on January 31, 1982, and served in that capacity until his death on November 13, 2005.[1]
