Cagle issued the following statement regarding his bid for office:
| “ | My Christian values are my driving force. When elected I will not support any bill that goes against my faith. I believe religious organizations should be free to say anything or endorse anyone without consequence.
I decided to run for office after speaking with several people from my district. I had been thinking about running before several people in the community encouraged me to do so. I saw that our education system in Oklahoma is not the best in the nation and I want to work on that. There are also many ways we can grow the workforce and I plan to address that while in office as well. I would like to cut the deficit in half my first year in office. During my second year in office I want to see our state's budget in the plus. [5] |
