William Callahan
William E. Callahan, Jr. was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He was first appointed to this position in 1995 and he retired from active service on March 31, 2015.[1][2]
Education
Judge Callahan received his J.D. from Marquette University in 1973.[1]
Career
Judge Callahan began his career in 1973 with the law firm Goldberg, Previant & Uelmen. In 1975, he became an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He then became a First Assistant U.S. Attorney in 1982. From 1984 until his judicial appointment in 1995, he worked with the firm Davis & Kuelthau S.C.[1]
