I'm a father, husband and veteran. I have three children and have been married twice. Growing up, my siblings and I had to live in the St. Anthony's Villa (a children's home) for a year. I attended Southwestern H.S. in Detroit, MI. Three days after graduation, I joined the US Navy. I served in Operation Fiery Vigil and Desert Storm. I was given a letter of Commendation for participating in USS Peleliu's Adopt a School program where I volunteered to tutor students in mathematics. After completing my 4 years of service, I used the GI Bill to get my AS Degree in Electronics. After graduating, I went to work for Applied Materials. Unfortunately, I was hit by a reduction in force following the 9/11 attacks. At this time, my wife left me and we were divorced. Unable to find gainful employment, I stayed with friends or family, sometimes I stayed in my car until two years later when I went back to work for Applied Materials as a contractor. I remarried and found other work until I could secure a direct hire position with Applied Materials. I overcome obstacles! I've overcome the difficulties of coming from a broken family, poverty, living in a children's home, the challenges of Detroit, serving in the US Navy and Desert Storm then the RIF and homelessness. What I have learned it to accept responsibility for my failures and learn from them. I've had many challenges, and they have made me stronger. A vote for me is a vote for progress. I work for you!
  • Defend the Constitution! Our rights were added to the Constitution by our founders who are much wiser than the politicians now trying to attack the Constitution and take those rights from us.
  • Secure our border! Nobody wants kids in cages or people suffering. There's more than one way to reduce the immigration crisis. Build the wall, enforce the laws and help would be immigrants in their countries.
  • Never stop believing! There are many issues and many ways to fix them. We can work together to help millions of Americans if we just stop fighting.
I'm passionate about protecting the constitution and our rights (2nd, Speech, Religion and the rest). I believe in justice! Everyone should be held to the same standard under the law. We need to secure our borders and end sanctuary cities. We need to continue to grow our economy, bring more manufacturing jobs back and help the homeless re-enter the work force. We need to end the horrific killing of babies (partial birth and late term abortions). We need to be more accepting of others and work toward the common good of the people.
My mom - she taught me to be understanding and to see things from different perspectives.

My dad - at home or Chrysler, he was always working. He taught me to put pride in your work.

William Wilberforce - Who you say? A British politician who spent his life to abolish slavery without a civil war in the UK.

Abraham Lincoln - It was at a great cost, but he abolished slavery. Also, he learned not to tear others down. In his younger years, he was very critical of other, until it nearly got him killed. He learned to bite his tongue when angered and this gave him great successes in his life. It's okay to disagree and pose different ideas or solutions, we don't have to be insulting when we do it. This is something I have to remember and work on.
The ability to be aware of and overcome prejudice and set aside bias. To listen to all sides of a story, take in the facts, analyze the information and make an accurate prediction about what would be best for the American people.
My ability to:

Be objective and listen tot everyone's perspective

Accept, learn from and overcome failures.
If I could do anything, I would like Americans to be more United and have the means to provide for their families.
March 30, 1981 - President Reagan was shot. I was 9 years old. And now here I am entering politics! It's scary, but I love this country and the people in it. I wrote to John Glenn when I was in elementary school. I forgive him for being a Democrat :) John Glen wrote back to me and that has stuck with me. Ever since I've wanted to run for office. This has always been my dream. I've had many challenges in my life. Many people have discouraged me, put me down and told me it will never happen. I'm done listening to them. I learned a few years ago to accept my failures and to forgive others. Forgiveness is a gift! When I learned to forgive, I began to heal. Negativity is a poison that will ruin your life. Let that go and don't let anyone limit you. Accept responsibility for your actions and learn from them. The only limit we have here in America is the limit we put on ourselves!
The Lord of the Rings. There are many lessons to be learned, which are applicable today, yet it is addressed in an entertaining way.
Captain America! He embodies all that I want to be.
I've had many. The largest struggle I had though was myself. I had to learn to let go of negativity, forgive other, accept responsibility for my failures and grow from them. How to Win Friends and Influence People really has changed my life. If you have not read it, you should.
They create bills which can be turned into laws and they have the power of impeachment which is currently being abused.
Absolutely not. In fact, I believe there should be term limits. Power if held too long will corrupt the most honest man.
Maintaining our Republic. Many politicians are quick to make promises which if done would destroy this nation. Socialism is dangerous and we need to protect the Constitution.
As stated earlier, I strongly believe in term limits. They should be limited to two terms in each office.
