William D. Jansen was the Department 5 justice of the peace on the Las Vegas Township Justice Court in Clark County, Nevada.

Education

Jansen received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his J.D. from the Drake University.[1]

Career

Jansen has been a Justice Court judge for the Township of Las Vegas. He previously worked for 23 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was appointed to the bench in 1985.[1]

Elections

2012

Jansen received 43.45% of the vote in the primary election on June 12.[2] He was very narrowly defeated by Cynthia Dustin-Cruz in the general election on November 6, earning 49.91% of the vote.[3]
