William Douglas McHugh
William Douglas McHugh (1859-1923) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska.
He received a recess appointment from President Grover Cleveland on November 20, 1896 and was nominated on December 8th. But the Senate refused to confirm the nomination, so his service ended on February 1, 1897.[1] McHugh was succeeded in this position by William Henry Munger.
