William Dupont
William C. Dupont is a former chief judge of the 18th Judicial District, Division D in Iberville Parish, Louisiana. He was elected to this position on September 18, 2004.[1][2] Dupont retired from the bench on October 31, 2015.[3]
Education
Dupont received his undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and graduated from Loyola University School of Law with a J.D. in 1975.[1]

Dupont ran for election to the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal. He advanced from the election on November 6, winning 38.51 percent of the vote. Dupont was defeated by Mitch Theriot in a runoff election on December 8, receiving 46.9 percent of the vote.[5][6][7]
