William E. Duffin
William E. Duffin is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He was appointed to the position on March 28, 2014. His current term will expire on March 27, 2022.[1]
Education
Duffin earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1987.[2]
Professional career
Duffin started his career as a law clerk for Justice K. David Harris of the Iowa Supreme Court. He then joined Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., where he spent his career until being appointed as a federal magistrate judge.[3]
