William E. Poncin

William E. Poncin is a resident judge of the Ninth Circuit Court in Illinois. He serves in Macomb.[1] He was elected to the court in 2010.[2] Poncin was retained in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Education
Poncin earned an undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University, going on to receive his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School. He was admitted to the bar in 1980.[3]
Career
Prior to his judicial election in 2010, Poncin worked as a state's attorney and as a Western Illinois University professor of criminal justice.[4]
