William F. Fairley

William F. Fairley was a district court judge for the 13th Judicial District, presiding over Bladen, Brunswick and Columbus counties of North Carolina.[1] He was appointed to the court by Governor Mike Easley in December 2007.[2] Fairley retired on July 1, 2020.[3]

Education
Fairley received his undergraduate degree in history and economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1975 and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 1978.[6][7]
Career
Before his appointment to the court, Fairley practiced law in Brunswick County for over twenty-four years, specializing in both civil and criminal law.[2]
