William F. Jackson
William F. Jackson was a judge of the Circuit 11 court in Alabama. He unseated incumbent Jimmy Sandlin to take the bench in the 2010 election for a term that expired in 2016.
Education
Jackson received his J.D. from Jones School of Law.[1]
Career
Jackson was a private practice attorney prior to his career in public service. He served as assistant district attorney and district attorney in Lauderdale County, Alabama before taking the Circuit 11 bench in 2011.[1]
2010 election
Jackson defeated Jimmy Sandlin in the Democratic Primary Runoff election, receiving 61.3% of the vote.[2][3][4] He ran unopposed in the general election, earning 100% of the vote.[5]
