Biography

Green was born in Montgomery, AL. He earned a bachelor's degree from Alabama State University in 1992. His career experience includes working as an information technology consultant as well as a stockbroker. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1981 to 1985.[1]

William A. Green, Jr. is a former U.S. Marine that served one year with the 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion in Okinawa, Japan. He graduated from Alabama State University in 1992 with a degree in Accounting. In 2000, William founded William Delaney Consulting specializing in Oracle Financials implementations and staff augmentations.
  • William Green has a proven track record of achievement that he will bring to the Alabama Senate
  • William Green's 26 years plus experience as a business consultant will be valuable in bringing much needed investment and development to district 26
  • During his extent as City Councilman, William Green worked will people from all parties and all organizations to serve the people of his districtly faithfully.
Business Development and Education. While serving as a city councilman, William Green founded the first charter school for the county of Montgomery to bring school choice to Montgomery and improve the prospects of public education. William also contracted with the leading retail recruitment company to locate 20 businesses that would be a great fit for district 5, a district that has been long-overlooked for business development.
