William Hallman III

William Henry "Bud" Hallman III was a Sumter County judge of the Fifth Circuit of Florida. He was the administrative judge of Sumter County.[1] He was appointed to the court by Gov. Jeb Bush (R) on April 24, 2003 (effective in May 2003). He later ran unopposed and was retained to six-year terms in 2010 and 2016.[2][3][4][5] Hallman retired on December 31, 2021.[6]
Education
Hallman received his undergraduate and law degrees from Nova Southeastern University. He was admitted to the Bar in 1992.[7]
Career
Hallman began his career in 1992 as a prosecutor in Hernando County. He then started a private law practice in 1995. He worked in that capacity until he joined the circuit court in 2003.[2]

Hallman won re-election without opposition in 2016.
2010
Hallman ran unopposed and was automatically retained to a new term.[4][5]
