William Hamrick is a member of the Georgia Business Court. He assumed office in 2022.
He was appointed to the court in 2022 by Brian Kemp (R) to replace Walter Davis.
Education
Hamrick received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Auburn University and his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Hamrick was the District 30 Representative in the Georgia General Assembly from 2000 to 2012.[2]

Hamrick ran in the 2012 election for Georgia State Senate District 30. Hamrick ran unopposed in the Republican primary on July 31, 2012. No Democratic candidates filed to run for the seat. A special election primary was held to fill his seat on November 6, 2012.[6][7]
