William Brevard Hand (1924-2008) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama.

Hand was nominated by President Richard Nixon on July 26, 1971, to a seat vacated by Daniel Thomas; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 21, 1971, and received commission the next day. He served as chief judge from 1981 until he assumed senior status on January 19, 1989. He served until his death on September 6, 2008. Hand was succeeded in this position by Richard Vollmer.
