William Harris is the former judge of the 233rd District Court in Texas.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor George W. Bush in 1995. He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expired on December 31, 2018. He did not seek re-election in 2018.[2][3]

Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014. [3][4][5][6] 

2010

Harris ran for re-election to the district court in 2010.[7] He defeated Tom McKenzie in the general election, winning 62.95% of the vote.[8]

Education

Harris received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1975, and his J.D. from Texas Tech University.[2]

Career

Prior to his legal career, Harris was a police officer in Arlington, TX.[2]
