William J. McGrath, Jr. was a judge for the Superior Court of San Diego County in California.[1] McGrath retired on August 15, 2014.[2]

Education

McGrath earned his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University and his J.D. from the University of San Diego Law School.[2]

Career

Prior to joining the court, McGrath was a defense lawyer and court commissioner.[2]

2012 election

McGrath ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, McGrath was automatically re-elected.[3]
