William J. O'Neil
William J. O'Neil is the Presiding Disciplinary Judge for the state of Arizona. He was appointed in September 2010 and serves as the first presiding disciplinary judge.[1]
Career
O'Neil spent 19 years as a judge of the Pinal County Superior Court. He served as the court's Presiding Judge from 2001 through 2005 and as its Presiding Juvenile Judge from 1992-2001.[2]
Donahoe charges
In December 2009, O'Neil was assigned by Rebecca White Berch, Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court, a case that involves criminal charges filed against Gary Donahoe, who is the presiding judge of the Criminal Court of the Maricopa County Superior Court.[3]
