William Kernahan Thomas (1911-2001) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Thomas was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on January 19, 1966, to a seat vacated by Paul Jones; he was confirmed by the Senate on March 4, 1966, and received commission three days later. He assumed senior status on February 15, 1981, and served in that capacity until his death on March 20, 2001.[1] Thomas was succeeded in this position by John Potter.
