William Kizzie was a 2015 candidate for District 32 of the Nashville Metro Council in Tennessee. The general election took place on August 6, 2015.

Biography

Kizzie earned a B.S. in business administration and management from Fisk University in 2002, going on to receive a master's degree in education from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2010. He has worked as an education specialist for the Metro Nashville Public Schools since 2008.[1]

The city of Nashville, Tennessee, held nonpartisan elections for mayor and metro council on August 6, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was May 21, 2015. All 41 metro council seats—including the office of vice mayor—were up for election. In District 32, incumbent Jacobia Dowell defeated Ronald A. Haskins and William Kizzie.[2][3]
