Biography
Mallory graduated with a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati and then received his J.D. from the Chase College of Law.[1] Mallory served on the Hamilton County Municipal Court from 1993 until April 2007 when he was elevated to the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas. He served the Court of Common Pleas until his 2009 appointment to the First District Court of Appeals. Mallory was the first black judge on the court.[2]

To serve on this court, a judge must be a resident of the municipality, licensed in the state, and practice law for six years or serve as a judge of court of record.[4]
