William Louis Day (1876-1936) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He was nominated by President William Howard Taft on April 6, 1911 to fill a seat vacated by Robert Walker Tayler. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 9, 1911, and received commission that same day. He resigned on May 1, 1914.[1] Day was succeeded in this position by John Hessin Clarke.
