William Lynch (Illinois)
William Joseph Lynch (1908-1976) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Lynch was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on January 19, 1966, to a seat vacated by Michael Igoe; he was confirmed by the Senate on March 4, 1966, and received commission on March 7, 1966. He served the Northern District of Illinois until his death on August 9, 1976.[1] Lynch was succeeded in this position by Nicholas Bua.
