William M. Harrington is a judge of the New York City Criminal Court of Queens County, New York. He has served on the Criminal Court since 2001 He also serves on the Queens County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the Integrated Domestic Violence Part (11th Judicial District).[1][2][3]

Education

Harrington received his B.A. degree from Tufts University in 1986 and his J.D. degree from George Washington University in 1989.[2]

Career

Harrington began his career in 1989 as an Assistant Kings County District Attorney. He worked in this position until 1996, minus a brief time in 1993 when he worked at the Essex County D.A.'s Office. From 1996 to 2001, he was the principal law clerk to Judge Albert Tomei. Harrington was then appointed to the New York City Criminal Courts in 2001. The following year, he was reappointed and began serving in Queens County.[2]
